Why I Started This Blog

Five years ago, I bought four wooded acres in upstate Vermont and built a 16x20 timber cabin with my own hands. We run entirely on solar power, heat with a cast iron wood stove, and collect rainwater.

Too much content online feels mass-produced, filled with buzzwords and unverified claims. I built this space to be the exact opposite: an honest, field-tested notebook where every technique has been tried in my own space.
